Carbon steel coil is an alloy steel coil with carbon as the main element, also known as carbon steel coil. Its advantages include high strength, good plasticity, good toughness, easy processing and welding, etc. It is a material widely used in industries such as construction, machinery, automobiles, and ships. Carbon steel coils have good strength, plasticity, and toughness, which can meet the processing needs of various complex shapes.
The main chemical components of carbon steel coils are iron and carbon, with a carbon content generally above 0.2%. According to different uses and performance requirements, a certain amount of elements such as silicon, manganese, phosphorus, and sulfur may also be added to carbon steel coils.
The mechanical properties of carbon steel coils mainly include strength, plasticity, and toughness. Its tensile strength is generally above 300MPa, yield strength is around 200MPa, elongation is above 18%, and it also has good low-temperature toughness.
